World Championship 2002 Event Schedule

Not playing in the main invite only event? Dont worry, there will be plently of things to do at the World Championship, here is a list of events that will be happening at worlds. Note that all times are the Seattle local time zone, PST. Also all Fee's are in United States Dollar. Saturday, Aug. 3rd Time Fee Event Discription 9:00am $0.00 Convention Center Doors Open You may now enter the convention center. 10:00am [Invite] Pokémon World Championship For the 11-14 and the 10 and Under who where invited to worlds, this is their event! 10:30am $5.00 Unlimited Constructed Tournament 64 players will play 6 rounds of swiss, with a cut to the top 8 for finals 2:00pm $25.00* Team Multi-play Legendary Collection Sealed 64, 2 player teams will have to build and battle 2 decks out of 10 Legendary Collection boosters. 6 Rounds, top 8 finals. *NOTE: The fee is per TEAM not player. ?:?? 4 hours of work Professor/Wizards Challenge A Professor/wizards event staff tournament. You must work for wizards or a regisered Pokemon Professors and put in 4 hours of work at the event to be in the event. All Day $10.00 Legendary Collection Sealed 8 Players per 'pod'. Each player gets 4 packs of Legendary Collection to build a 40 card deck to battle in this single elimination event. All Day $10.00 Gym Booster Drafts 8 Players per 'pod'. Each player will get 2 Gym: Heroes boosters and 3 Gym: Challenge boosters, and will draft a 40 card card deck for this single elimination event. All Day $5.00 Modified Constructed Tournaments 8 players will play in this 'bring your own deck' event, there will be 3 rounds of single elimination. Sunday, Aug. 4th Time Fee Event Discription 9:00am $0.00 Convention Center Doors Open You may now enter the convention center. 10:00am [Invite] Pokémon World Championship For the 11-14 and the 10 and Under who where invited to worlds, this is their event! 10:00am $10.00 Theme Deck Sealed Challenge 64 players will play 6 rounds of swiss. Each player will get a random theme deck and 2 Legendary Collection boosters and must build a 40 card deck to battle. 1:00pm $15.00 Card E Pre-Release Tournament 128 players will play out 7 rounds of swiss. Each player gets 2 Legendary Collection boosters and 3 Card E booster packs to build a 40 card deck for play ?:?? 4 hours of work Professor/Wizards Challenge A Professor/wizards event staff tournament.
