Tried to do everything I could to fix my printer as the stupid thing would only print in black and blue for some reason However, my friend Ryan(bull23924/bullados) informed me had made 100+ copies of our card.

I spent the day in school going, "Ok, "x" more blocks until I'm out of here!" You have nooooo idea how hard it is to concentrate on a genetics test for your honors biology class when you're reviewing drafting strategies in your mind. Anyway, I think I did decently on the test, so then I got my stuff together and waited for my ride to take me to the Holiday Inn for Pokedok's draft. There, I hung out in the area where all the other players were and played SpoungeOMatic(sp?). He was determined to KO my pichu, however pichu ended up KO'ing ALL 3 OF HIS TYPHLOSIONS AT ONCE. I ended up losing that match, but it was amazingly funny. At around 7 or so, they called us in for the Professor's Q&A. Keirin, MTM and DMTM all discussed things about tournement penalties and other stuff ranging from cleffa's eeeeeeek(If you forget to flip for eeeeeeek against another baby, you lose your hand, your opponent gets a prize and you must add a prize) to coin flips and die rolls. About 9 Pokedok started registration for his draft. I was in a pod with MTM, Firefighter095, and a guy who won an STS or placed in one(sorry I forgot your name). Anyway, I basically drafted this weird mix of fire and psycic. I ended up being 2-2 and the "wild card" for the top. Unfortunately, I didn't make it, so I left around midnight.

THIS was the day of reckoning, I had studied the sets for, like, ever, and I literally KNEW all the cards(I even knew a few of the legnths ). At 6:30 I got up, packed gum and other sugars into my mini backpack, got my Ultra Pro together, checked for all my decks, deproxied one deck for the girl I was loaning it to(had to get rid of "chinchou-cleffa") and crammed my Rocket outfit into a bag. We left at 7, got there at 7:15 and basically I hung out with my friend Dave(Axe1234) before the Professor meeting at 7:30. I got myself some COFFEE, being sort of tired, and then listened to Linkin Park sort of loud to wake myself up . MTM and DMTM took volunteers for registration, administering the test, deck checks and crowd control. I wanted to run a draft, so I walked over to the guy who was running side events and he said at 10 we could do one. So, for two hours, I chilled with RaNd0m, got a fake from Pure, handed out my own fakes(bull had pulled through!), got interviewed by Pure, chatted with pkmx and Anguris from Zeo and basically waited until 10. We had all assumed the Professor's draft would start at 2, however they announced that it would start at 11:30, leaving us with about an hour and 20 minutes for the draft. We got two dropouts, so by the time we found people to fill in, we had just short of an hour to draft. I was determined to do it however. So, hustling over to the table, I announced we would "Speed draft" having 3 prize matches and whenever you were finnished with one match, you'd move to the next immediately. I was so glad we did single elim, we would have never finnished if we had not. Anyway, it came down to Brian(?) and SSJVegeta0405 in the last round, and that's when they announced the Professor draft would start. So SSJV decided to drop, coming in 2nd, Brian first, Dave's dad made either 3rd or 4th, and I don't remember who also placed(sorry!).

Professor draft- I got crap. I decided to draft water and fire, not exactly sure why, but when I saw my opponent getting a couple good water/fire things, I went for water/fire. Wizards handed out more of their funky die, so immediately everyone began to roll them. All 47 of us rolling the die . Once the last pack was drafted, we went to lunch. I got myself more COFFEE, and then an invite to a draft between the Zeo crew. I made some weird Misty deck again but this time I had Giovanni's Nidorina/nidoran in there. Unfortunately, by the time we had finnished drafting the packs, they announced the Professor Draft was starting up again. So we packed our decks away with the resolve to finnish the draft later. In my pod we had Pure, Heidi Craig, Firefighter095, SSJVegeta0405, old man and 3 other people . Since my deck was so rediculous, I'll include a list:

Giovanni's Meowth combo'ed with Rocket's Training Gym was REALLY pissing me off until he got tails, I got a Cinnabar City and my lovely Seadra powered. Seadra got knockout needle for 90 TWICE, giving me the last two prizes I so desparately needed.

I started with Jiggly, I went first, she had two Ponyta's(hind kick) and a geodude(hookshot) with a Ponyta active. Jiggly did 40 to Ponyta #1, she switched it out for geodude who did 20 to jiggly. Puff did 40 to the 'dude, another 20 to jiggly, I KO'd the geodude and she sent up ponyta #1 to finnish off jiggly. I sent up a starmie with 2 waters on it to KO that one, she only had the other Ponyta and that that was game.

I was worried about him, he had drafted literally EVERY type there was, scoring 1st ed holos and other cool stuff. We had this joke going about how the two worst decks were undefeated at the moment. I said I'd build a shrine to Misty if I ended up winning, and then the MTs said start. Growlithe and Cloyster kicked major arse, though he never got an energy until a while later, though by then growlithe had done some major pummeling. In the end, it was all Cloyster

By now everyone's telling me I'll make top 8, RaNd0m especially, and I was just REALLY nervous.

Whee! Another grass deck! He kept retreating between doduos and other things, but eventually starmie prevailed. For my last prize I managed to paralyze a jiggly, he didn't pull a warp point and I won.

Now I was going, "Oh god, I have to build a shrine to Misty", and then I found out some really cool news. I had loaned my Raichu deck to ilc's little brother for the 10- division and he came in 3rd! He gave me 2 packs of Destiny for loaning him my deck, and I pulled a Dark Gatr and Light dragonair. So I was floating by now, being undefeated with my messed up, screwed up, utterly disturbing deck and having my raichu deck place in the top 4 in 10-!

They then announced that due to the fact that there wasn't a clean break to the top 8, we'd have to play another round. I can understand why they did it, but I wasn't happy, I was in 2nd! SSJVegata was in 8th, or at least tied for 8th. The funniest part was when Ness turned his hat backwards saying something to the effect of "Ness has turned his hat backwards, he means business now".

I started bad, hoping for a FTKO, I sent up my magikarp and he had a Brock's onyx . Magikarp did it's 40 surprisingly, and he kept paralyzing the poor thing. The onyx ended up taking about 2-3 prizes before I got rid of the thing, and then he got a heads for lucky shot KO'ing my growlithe w/ 30 already on it.

I thought I had made top 8, but unfortunately I forgot about resistance. Since I lost to a guy who was 2-3 or 3-2(don't remember) mine went down, lowering me to 10th =/. I found out later if we had done an intensional draw, I would have made T8, but what's done is done :/. Oh well, I still got my box o' destiny .
