It all started at 12 midnight when i vowed to myself that i wouldn't sleep because i have been known to be a deep sleeper and if i sleep i am not gonna wake up. I decided to open the remaining 35 packs of destiny i got. I got some nice cards which included the shjining mewtwo,kabutops and a light arcanine and darjk typhlosion and dark donphan. The collection was nice.

In here now its 4:30 am and i have just got done making a full 15 pancake breakfast that should last me the entire day. The day will start out 1 hour from now when ray picked me up and we travel to NJ. the day is gonna be fantastic. I have been studying for the rochester draft for weeks. i have been reading over Rochester rules,studying each card in each gym set and i have even been ina Rochester draft last Saturday as practice. The road to this had been a bumpy one. taken the test 117 times,having to get the rest of the set to study from,the long days i have been holding out for to gte here and now the long wait till the draft. I fell so alive but also so dead bored.

3:45 am: less then 2 hours till ray gets here and i am watching 2 Pokemon cartoons. i have lasted through most of the time i have had up and now i think ill have some fun watching cartoons.

5:12 am I watched them all but fell asleep at 4:35 after missing only one of the 6 i had in store. Ray is here and we are off. We get on the road there and due to my not reading directions well we got lost 3 times,ray cut off 2 cars nd a bus and we made it to the sign that say's: Welcome to Hackensack :"Land of no left turns" J/K. No it really did way welcome to hackensack but the left turn part was a joke. We get to the SC to find Marill right in front. we tell him hat happened and he got a good laugh. he tells us purity and ech are sleeping still. We finally get into jersey's crown plaza expo center and the first thing is aid was WOW!!!!! So big and so beautiful. MTM greets us and we talk for a short bit till we find out we ave to wait outside unless we wanna help judge and stuff. We wait till 8:0 am and they let everyone in. I meet up with an old buddy who i haven't said hi to since the ECSTS 2000. His name is james craven. he was well known for his BIG team rocket suit and weird blue hair at both ECSTS‚S. I finally find out he never recognized me from the ECSTS 2001. he later was battling and traveling around. He went without a win in the modified tourney and i diednet see him after that. Well the day begins when i go back with Marill to find purity and ech and i see them coming down so i hide behind a wall and surprise pic them but ech as usual has his head turned away so i missed him so i got close up of his in his usual game face. :D We all get ina nd i get my wobuffet and pay purity. I love wobuffet!!

The tourneys begin all around I play my old buddy dave who wanted to try him adjusted haymaker. he took my haymaker for a spin 2 times and he won. by that times the registration opened and i signed up for the Rochester and booster draft #1. I got into the draft nd pulled a wild erika koga deck. i pulled 2nd with it. I lost to a deck where Blaine's kangaskhan was a cleanup and i couldn't hold out. ohh well. I wanted to enter draft 4 but i w as so worried about rochester drafting time that i didn't try it. I later found the draft wouldn't start till 2:30 so i said ok i went to the table where the card sales man was and sold a flock of cards for $75.00 I used the money to yank 14 packs and get into draft #6. i was happy because my buddies charwolfbob callanan and i forget the 3rd guys name all got into this. I remember this guy named julio who made it to the finals with an impressive fighting deck. This draft i pulled 3rd against bob. He went on to win it. I faced ray in round 1 and to say he had me on the run but i killed his brocks primape with the bellsprout vinewhip,Misty's seel frostbite and the kogs's zubat., ;).

I then know the draft ended and the professor event begins. We we expolained the rules and then drafted. the draft lasted just over an hour with a little confusion. Tom Haley was dubbed the pod judge but kept having to warn players if mistakes. We went into battle an hour later. Ill give you some of the results o saw

i remember the end of the tournament when it was bib and greg and Greg beat bib's jiggly with a Blain's nineties. the handshake was impressive,the MT'S gave out the box off destiny and the wold pikachu collection and they also both got a first edition gym challenge box for remembrance of this being the first ever rochester draft
For all the trainers who participated they all got packs according to ranking. to-p 8-top 16 got 24 destiny packs. Top 17 and under got 8 destiny packs. i cane out the lucky devil with a shining charizard,a dark espeon and a light arcanine in 3 straight packs. All in all it was a fun drat and i know when i go to chicago it will be juts as much fun After the draft ended DMTM and Sensei were asked to get everyone out by giving them all a discovery pack for attending. I ended up getting 2 when i had to return to find out from ray what was going on and finding ot there was gonna be a draft in process at the lobby area i said ohh why not and i ran out getting a pack from sensei. :D. 2 pack's of discovery= i fire houndour and a holo steel magnemite

We went to eat dinner with zeo and missed the draft but dinner was FUN!! Me peeptoad and marrill all went in rays car and mech was the one trying to find his way out. It was so funny. he was squeezing out and almost hurt himself getting out. we got i as a group of 10 and it looked funny because we all look like one big collection of people crowding in. I remember after being seated it took the waiter on that long buzy night a little extra time to gte everything. we tipped him well at the end for all his hard work. We were eating and having fun. marill from one side making sign trying to communicate with each side. marill later made a chart saying who was sitting where. When he wanted to get what everyone was eating on there ech made the following comment 'Who will subdue marill before w all attack him?" I was laughing so much at that one. I still remember ech looking at me funny when i w as so tried after dinner i was using my chikorita as a pillow. he thought i w as curling up on it which i was to sleep. Later me and ray went back and vash and his crew returned. me and ray took a long walk up,around and finally found pur in the MT;'S room. I will not give the rest of this piece a story. Me and ray decided the draft was over,pur was tired and had to return,we couldn't find any game playa nd we traveled back to NY on a good note

I ended up with 28 boosters in the end. 10 genesis,14 destiny,2 discovery (Thanks DMTM and Sensei) and 2 challenge. I pulled some nice cards. I was happy with the d ay I finally got back. Ray was in a D+D mode and was going home all in an adrenaline rush. I was asleep within 10 minutes of getting home. I could barely stand at my computer i was so tied. That's my report. Its was along day,a great battle and chicago will be just as good plus i get to see Neo Queen Jen when i go so im 3 times as happy:)
