the gym challenge tournament series kicks off in march!
check here for a list of tournament dates and locations.
check often, there are some dates and locations that have
yet to be announced. it would be a shame to miss one near
you, as competitors will have the chance to earn an
invitation and trip to the pokemon world championship taking
place this year!

dates and locations for the gym challenge
series....we will make every effort to ensure our
information is correct, but it's not a bad idea to contact
the tournament venue to double check, because we certainly
are faillible. all information here is taken from the
wotc
challenge series
schedule.

the first gym events begin
march 16th! check and see if there is one near
you!
basic info
like the stadium
challenges, the main tournament event at gym challenges is
only open to players age 14 and under. tournament operators
are being urged to provide events for the fifteen and over
crowd...if there is a gym challenge scheduled near you,
contact the TO and ask them what sort of events will be
offered for 15+. professors are urged to offer their
assistance in setting up such events. if enough interest
(expressed in a mature and polite way, mind you) is
expressed for 15+ events at any given challenge, the
likelihood that they will be offered increases.
• gym challenges are
one day only events.
• gym challenge main
tournaments are open to players 14 and under, and
there will be a $5 fee for entry into the main
tournament.
there will be two separate
tournaments, one for 10 and under, and one for 11-14.
players who have already won an invitation to the pokemon
worlds championship will not be allowed to compete
again.
