When will the League locater be working????

What can you tell us
about League Year 3, or the professor program?

master_trainer_mike says , "Well League Year 3
will be different than the previous years. It is now all
about game play and introducing the tournament structure to
you all."
master_trainer_mike says , "You will have the chance
to earn up to THREE different promo cards each season. 1
Classic (previously released) promo, 1 new mechanic card,
and the new, never before released foil energy cards."
master_trainer_mike says , "Each season will end with
a tournament that can be sanctioned if your Gym Leader
wishes to do so (so you can work on your ratings). It is
through participating in that final tournament that you can
earn the foil energy cards."
master_trainer_mike says , "As for the Progessor
Program, it is an online judge certification type program
made exclusively for our 15 years old and older players. It
will give you the recognition you deserve as mentors and
teachres of Pokemon as well as keep you in the loop about
new rulings, upcoming events, and products."

Professor exclusive events held next year too! Keep an eye
on our web site for more details soon."

suppose I walk into League 3 next year. What's the first

So with the exclusively
"Professor" events, does that mean that 15+ are not going to
be in the "Challenge" events at all? The two groups will be
separated, or will there be 15+ also at the
"Challenges"?

Manager will go over all of the specifics of these new
programs when he is our guest speaker on January 3rd. Don't

For the season-ending
tournaments, will there be any specific format or will they
vary from location to location (i.e. one store runs
"modified", another store runs "standard", etc.)?

be used throughout the seasons. Each league will run the
same format for that season."

in NH that used to sell our league kits before we moved, and

Hello again! I'm not
too up on these foil energies. I'm presuming they're basic
energies. Will all 6 types be available from the first
instance, or are you releasing them one type at a time? If
so, is there any system as to how you recieve them, i.e.
Random, Set, Choice or Leaders Discretion?

card will be available each season. They will be given to
participants in the season ending tournaments, and
additional copies can be earned by placing in the top 8 in
those same tournaments."

to start a pokémon league?

a program developed for retail locations that sell Pokemon
cards. Find a local store that is interested in having
players (customers) come in every week. Then that store
needs to contact us."
is there anything we
can do the new manager at a bookstore i go to sometimes is
shutting pokémon down...FOR GOOD!

will not be able to start on
January 5th (too soon) but
they can start the new league anytime in

their involvement with
Pokemon League Year 3?

According to the flyer
that the store gave the head GL at the league, it says the
new kit will contain pikachu metal coins. Are the coins
included in the kit just extras or are they equaly weighed
coins for the end of season tournament?

(though they do have mass). They are to be given to each
league member."

Do I have to use that
Pikachu coin for anything in League, or can I keep flipping
my Sacagewea dollar for games?

Looking forward to the
new team questons? If my team has Ditto, Brock's Ninetales
and Mr. Mime, and they have Suicune, Elekid, and Erika's
Dratini, and Clefable....

brain...Sleep weaker and Poison stronger? I'm betting that
means you flip for Sleep and take Poison damage at the end

"attack effects" I remember were Paint and Char. Are there
any other newer ones or more on the horizon?

multiplayer rules? Good, we have a ton of team battles at my
League...>=D

Team Playing will be a
tremendous boost to the game IMO as alot of kids like to
play that at the stores I go to.Can you reveal anything else
right now to whet everyone`s appetite`s?

some pretty major construction so you'll have to wait a
bit."

the early beta rules early next year though so you can help
us test it."

non-sanctioned events for it at the larger Pokemon Challenge
