Ditto question of the week:

If I play an LSSP,and Ditto is opposite Suicune, does Brock`s Ninetails 9th attached evolution get knocked out if my opponent plays Feraligatr on the 1st turn? :-).
darkmt_mike says, "Only if it's Tuesday and you have red geraniums growing on the South side of your house."

Has Suicine become more confusing then Ditto?
darkmt_mike says, "No. Just more confusing considering current templates."
pokesensei smirks.

The Suicune rulling doesn't affect how darkness and metal energy cards are played?
master_trainer_mike says, "What do you mean? Any effect form an attached energy card that alters the amount of damage done is NOT affected by Suicune."

would a Darkness Energy add 10 damage to an attack against Suicune? Would a Metal reduce it by 10?
darkmt_mike says, "Answered this....Yes!"

You said Suicune prevents damage that isn't represented by the number on the right of the attack. What about those error cards where the number was omitted?
master_trainer_mike says, "It is all about INTENT gang. Don't try to be so legalistic."
master_trainer_mike says, "What we said about Suicune was not the official word, just a away to help you understand how it works."

What about Neo Discovery Scizor v. Suicune? I assume the attack still does 20x, right?
master_trainer_mike says, "Steve, you are reading into it much too closely."
master_trainer_mike says, "Yes, the Scizor does the damage against Suicune."

If Tauros attacks Suicine with Stomp, does it do 20 or 20/30?
darkmt_mike says, "Any part of determining how much damage is done is not effected by Suicune."

Does Suicine prevent Metronome?
darkmt_mike says, "No."

If Electabuzz attacks holo Suicune with Thunderpunch (30+) and flips tails, does 'Buzz take 10 damage?
darkmt_mike says, "No. It does not."

So if you get 3 heads on ESP, Misty's Psyduck can copy the attack of Suicune?
darkmt_mike says, "Yes. Part of determining what the attack is...that is not prevented!"

sorry to ask a suicune question, but does something like taunt(active switching) get stopped by its power?
darkmt_mike says, "Yes."

heh, while we're on Suicune, what happens when Magby uses sputter? Does the game open a black hole killing everybody due to the massive paradox, or does the stopping of the pokémon power just not happen? =P
master_trainer_mike says, "I vote for the first one :)"
darkmt_mike says, "I vote for the black hole."
master_trainer_mike says, "currently, the power would not be shut off"

Has the rule on Mulligans changed for the player who goes 2d? Example: Player A wins the flip and mulligans. Player B draws 2 cards. Player A gets a basic. Player B mulligans. Does Player B draw 7 or 9 cards?
master_trainer_mike says, "9"
master_trainer_mike says, "It has been updated on the floor rules on the web."
darkmt_mike says, "I think player B needs to think about it for a while though!"

Hello there! I was wondering about Revelation Raichu. Say I had three rainbow energies attached to hi and choose to do 80 damage, what would happen?
master_trainer_mike says, "You would discard the 3 Rainbow energies."

Brock's Ninetales gets devolved. Should the attached cards be discarded as the shapeshift power is nolonger present
darkmt_mike says, "Yes."

The revelation Unown cards are back to affecting Unowns only. Why did you guys decide not to do that in Discovery?.
master_trainer_mike says, "Remember that we don;t own these cards, final decisions on how they are templated comes form Japan."
darkmt_mike says, "Templating and translation make this a difficult process sometimes."

Does Igglybuff's Gaze activate LSSP's "need to know" clause?.
darkmt_mike says, "Yes it would."
darkmt_mike says, ""Need to Know""

If you are playing against holo suicune, would your Charizard discard Fire energy? Would Blaine's Magmar discard the top five cards of your deck?
darkmt_mike says, "Yes to both. It does not block costs..."
darkmt_mike says, "..and Blaines Magmar for determining how much damage is done"

Aaargh Suicune. last week the advice was to look for a + - x or ? beside the number. If absent to ignore the text entirely. ooo I could get to really lurve this card! So this week its different
master_trainer_mike says, "Ok, allow me to say this once again."
master_trainer_mike says, "Do NOT take what we say about Sucine as the final answer!!!!"
master_trainer_mike says, "It is one of the cards that is being investigated."
master_trainer_mike says, "The answers that we give you here oin the chat are just our current best guesses."

Can you flip over an LSSP'd card at any point in the game, even during your opponent's turn?
darkmt_mike says, "Only on checks...So no."
master_trainer_mike says, "hmmmmm......Rice Chex"

What if your active (an non-LSSP'd card) is attacked by a colorless, Dark or Metal Pokémon and you have multiple LSSP'd cards on your bench? Do you flip all of them to find if there's an Unown that could either decrease damage or stop other Unowns from decreasing damage? I would think so from the "Fetch against a LSSP'd card flips it over, since it could've been a baby" rule.
master_trainer_mike says, "Ok, this would never happen right? Can I ask about what you would do if you were on Survivor?"
master_trainer_mike says, "Please keep questions to normal game sitches ok? Thanks :)"

If you use an attack like Pikachu's Gnaw on an LSSP'd energy, the card is discarded, but does Pikachu still damage the opponent's Pokémon that they choose to bring up? (Sorry about all these LSSP questions)
master_trainer_mike says, "I imagine this card will undergo more rules revisions in the nottoo distant future."
darkmt_mike says, "No."

What is the effect of the trainer card "charity" from the gym heroes set?
master_trainer_mike says, "It allows you toi reduce the amount of damage done by the attack of the Pokemon that Charity is attached to."
