oh yeah! set info....well, there are 80 cards in the set (barring any hidden ones) and the expansion symbol is the quidditch cup. there will be some league promos as well, i beleive those will start up in january. there will be 3 promo cards for the movie coming out next month. you have to buy a kid's movie popcorn and drink combo to get them, or you can do what everyone else does and get em off ebay. anyways, those are bluebell flames, snape's question, and strategy session. the first 2 are from the first set, the strategy session one is from the new expansion....

• before zeo had forums, there were the sugarshock forums... however once zeo forums came into the picture ss kinda dwindled... well anyway pure has spent some time back there sprucing them up and adding new forums. while zeo is geared towards pokemon, the ss forums are a lot more diverse. there is a song parody forum, (yes.. i've posted a few songs in there) a new webmaster's tools forum, one specifically for digital comics.... just to name a few. go check out the ss forums to see what you're missing.

good gracious....anyways, it doesn't look happy. here's a plot summary (i think) .....this cranky looking scientist guy here (he looks like the school custodian from the simpsons, a bit....don't you think?) and team rocket capture the baby lugia. this makes parent lugia very angry, and it proceeds to go on a rampage. attempts to pacify it don't work, only the return of the baby (presumably by ash and company) calm it down. er, there you go...hey, let's all look at that cute baby lugia some more. aaaaaw....

a year ago today pure and i officially opened zeo, and in that year it has grown emmencly. we have managed to bring you various arrays of news, information, cards, and strategies, all with a certain zeo twist. i think pure must have thought i was crazy when we came up with the idea of the zeo edition... making all 251 pokemon into cards... hehe... i think she KNEW i was crazy when we did all 26 unowns in one day. :D

pure, i would really like to thank you for everything you've done towards the site in the past year. all the zeo edition and other art, the coro coro, blanks, wotc chats... it all takes up a lot of resources and you show endless dedication to the site that i really can't just express in words. thank you for putting up with me and all the hardships of the site for the past year.... i'm glad to call you my friend.

now even tho it is really only purity and myself that you see in these updates on the main page, so many others put work into the site... and have right from day one too.

vash has always been there trying out new ideas and making some of the cool extras that you see around the site, such as the search engine and the new shine animation on the forums. vash also does a lot of work that you don't see... maintaining the ss.net server is a big thing... and its no easy job either.

hack and dug have been dedicated and even tho sometimes their schedules conflict, they still manage to put time into helping out the site. even tho they aren't mentioned much, mystery thing and mastermarril2k both spend a lot of time doing various things too. anything from blanks, to errors on pages, these two find them, and help us fix them. members of the blanks workshop also do a lot of work on the blanks for the site... but never really get in the spotlight too often... even tho it would make our lives a lot more difficult without them ;)

you might not hear much about him, but qasic has really helped zeo as well. he often posted on the old pokegym when we had information here, such as the live updates from ecsts2000... and even after the gym closed, qasic still has been helping us with various aspects of the server and site... just wish he'd get to an sts so we can thank him in PERSON! :P

anguris and kajio.... the two admins on the forums. both of them knew that it would be 10x the work and problems, and yet they still helped pure and i out by assisting with the forums... and they're not alone either... miles, mars, megax, mt, ryle, dune, dug, hack, mecha, duisuke, elroy, sharkdog, and jolt all volunteer their time to take on the vigors of the forums as moderators, and pure and i are thankful for all of them as well as the free rangers and also the members that make up the community... nearly 1,000 strong.

also the people whom visit the site all the time.... whether you have been with us from the start, or if you are just recently joining the zeo community.... we also thank you. the growing number of people that visit zeo also inspire us to make the site stronger and better. pure and i have had a great time meeting a number of you at the two previous sts's... and we also look forward to doing so in san diego this winter.

....so then. 365 days that the site has been around. a lot has happened in the past year, more than i can even really remember. i think we've had some cool things in the past... and i'm also sure that we'll have cool things coming up too. (hmmm.... i better be sure, i'm helping work on them :D)

pokemon*web?!

thats right.... there's another new set of cards to collect.... and its NOT revelation this time!

next saturday the pokemon centers in japan, as well as pokemon center online will be selling pokemon*web.... a set comprised of all thecards from the game boy games that never made it into actual cards...

hmmm.... not sure how many cards it is, but i know that it will come out on oct 20th.... only through pokemon centers... the cost is 300¥ (instead of the usual 390¥) and it appears that there are 10 cards per pack... oh yeah! and the 'web' part? well... i'm not entiredly sure, but i do know that if you order the cards online, you can find out what cards you get! hmm.. sound at all like a new vending set or sorts?

...and while you're over at pokemon center online trying to figure out how to order some pokemon*web... make sure to reserve your copy of pokemon mini! it costs 4,800¥ (roughly $50 US) and with it you get the pokemon party game. additional titles available at launch are pokemon pinball, pokemon card (no, not tcg) and pokemon puzzles. each one retails for 1,200¥. the unit comes out november 27th in japan... may 15th in europe.... and in north america? well... they haven't announced a stateside release... yet. ;)

we have some REVELATION for you!

thanks as always to our sources, we have neo revelation cards for everyone to enjoy. out of the box we were able to get all but 6 cards... so we have a pretty complete checklist as well asscans of almost all the cards.

...and yes, shining magicarp and gyarados are in the set, for those of you that wondered ;)

...and heres a quick little bit of trivia for you... out of the box we got 16 remoraids... one out of every two packs had one of the suckers. conversly... octillery was the rarest of the uncommons and we only got 4 of them... which is just one short of the number of starmies and lugias we got. this really has no bearing other than random useless trivia... 1 out of every 3 people know that. ;)

well then.... seemed to get so caught up in revelation fever that we didn't get the sts section updated ^_^' anyway, we have some more stuff from lance and sd_pokemom to put up there, so we should have it up for you later... eh heh... if you haven't yet go look at the revelation cards again. :D

anyway, pure spent a lot of time fixing up the sts section of the site. she added all the side event info, some information about finding cheap air fares (ny to sd for under $200... @_@) as well as add in some tourist information sent in by pokeparent lance and sd pokemom.

and we also have a fairly decent charmeleon as well. the picture os great and the attack is nothing to be overlooked... it can either char of damage the bench, assuming you get two of a kind on the flip tho.

and secondly, we have the first of the orange crew's cards. this was totall a team effort here too. :D the leader pic was drawn by ryle and colored by pure. the badge was done by hack, the blank by myself, (loooong time ago... :P) and the card was made by anguris.

yup...my co webmaster is another year older today. a lot has happened in the past year. zeo wasn't even up last year at this time, we won't be celebrating its birthday for another week or so. but, i'd like to thank ech for being one of my best friends ever and for talking me into opening this site. this place never would have opened if it wasn't for him, so, today might be a nice day to send him an email, wish him a happy birthday and thank him for all the work he puts in around here. thanks for being my friend, ech....i'm going to do what i can to make this year's birthday really nice. i couldn't get your birthday graphic to turn out the way i wanted....sorry. happy birthday!

pure spent a lot of time and effort working to finish up the october coro coro section.... to scan, watermark, and comment takes roughly around 4 or 5 hours.... and thats if its a slow month. a majority of it is up now, and we're just fixing some problems with images for the rest. so for now you can gaze upon all the awesome tcg and ecard info in the jumbo japanese periodical, and then come back later for all the cool new toys and gcn stuff. what a deal!
