(¬_¬ @ eric) coldfront shocking alright... well thats it for me. i'm packing and heading off for new york this weekend... in the mean time vash remix will be entertaining you with updating for a few days... poor vash... what did he do to deserve this cruel fate. poor mech hasn't gotten over from when we asked him to update in the summer. ;)

(as if you needed to be told that) but that means that it'll be the zeo fall break! pure has gone to utah to visit her family and tomorrow i will be headed to new york to see pure. • okay... its like under two weeks now until the sts... around 500 people have already preregistered, have you? if you intend on playing in the main event, you HAVE to preregister... all you have to do is pick up the phone and call 1-800-ECOGYM.... and tell 'em zeo sent you. ;) well.. not really cause then they would probably think you're crazy or something, right? midday update! wizards updated their site with some year three pokemon league news! first off... its really different than before. the first four weeks you train like before, but it actually has a goal this time... a big seeded tournement at the end! so if you do well during the season you'll get a high seed in the tourney and chance for better prizes ..so what are the promo cards like this time around? well first off it seems like each season will have 'classic' promo cards... those ones that are hard to come by, such as the jigglypuff promo (season 1 promo) and now they also have a SECOND promo each season. the second promo is called a mechanical card, and it seems like these will be trainers to help with the game. the first season's mechanical card is none other than the gatr aiding pokemon tower from the vending set. pokemon tower (stadium card) no cards may be removed from either player's discard pile by an attack, pokemon power, or trainer card. now remember... thats just a rough translation, so the real one might be better!. finally.... we have promo energy cards! now this might sound lame, but think about it. everyone to participate in the tournement in the first season gets a rainbow energy promo.... (holo no less) and the better you do in the tourney the more you get! now everyone can have rainbow energies to use... and it doesn't look like it'll stop their as it seems like the prize for the tourneys are holo energy... hmmm.... anyway league season 3 sounds top notch! i know that mtm has really put a lot of work into this (he IS the league co-ordinator afterall) but also mtp, dmtm, das, kieren chase and everyone else at wizards who is fighting for pokemon. ....if you thought that 2001 was a good year for pokemon.... wait until 2002 comes along, cause its only gonna get better if wotc can get what they want from the pokemon company. :D ...i now return you to your regularly scheduled update. thanks for listening. midday update #2!!! can you believe it...two middday updates? anyways, 'sensei called me last night to say he was in pennsylvania, and he was coming up to nyc in the morning, to go to the new toys r us and the pokemon center. so i said, hey, let's meet up.....anyways, had a fun filled first half of sunday with 'sensei, watched him spend all his money, and as an added bonus, the pokemon center was handing out a different promo card today! ech and i got an email with one of these as well last night, and since i got one today we know it's an actual card....promo #41 --lucky stadium! wanna look? click below and you can see a nice big scan of both of them.   promos #40 & #41! hmm...oh, we saw dr. ash there. that was fun. a lot of the stuff at the center has already sold out, which is pretty amazing. toys r us was fun as well, i'll write up a bit about that over at sugarshock or at the forums, i think, maybe later. well, that's your lot for now. see you later! well... one of the things that pure managed to pick up yesterday was a pokemon mini... and as soon as vash found it... well.... [remembers the gba] anyway, since vash ran off with the high tech hilite, we decided to put him to work >:D that'll teach 'im! here we have vash's report on the smallest thing to come out of pokeland since the digletts started laying eggs. its soooo cute! looks to me like the atelier is running out of material... they only have one deck today... hmmm.... once deck divided by 5 people... man that's gotta be one well rebuilt deck! lone deck of the apocolypse hmmm.... we need to keep the atelier in action, so keep sending in those decks or else i might be forced to find something for them to do.... >:D rather interesting combination of attacks on magnemite here... the first attack lets you search for steel pokemon while the second attack increases for each electric pokemon in play... you gotta atmit tho, these steel magnemites are stronger than their electric kin magnetic personality where's the art?! we need art!!! watch out cause if we don't start getting more project zeo art, you could miss out and the project zeo staff will have to do more work and draw it all themselves...

This one is about... the Pokémon Mafia? There's a Pokémon Mafia?? Um... right. Remember to read the submission guidelines, then send your deck in. (IF someone from project zeo contacts me.... ¬_¬) The Atelier is hard at work again, making up for last night's lull with four new deck fixes! Make sure to have your DCI number handy (if you have one). • show off your halloween costume for a chance at a zeo shining charizard! hurry... only until nov15th quick! to the nearest pokemon center! just over a week away now from the grand opening of the pokemon center in new york, and it really looks to be shaping up to be cool first off, its two floors, 13,000 square feet total. it will house games, areas to trade pokemon and pokemon stuff, a huge pokedex where you can get info on all 251 pokemon... and probably the coolest... it will contain about 40% stock from the japanese pokemon center... including EXCLUSIVE items like pokemon web and pokemon mini! ...man, i can't wait to get back to ny to check this place out.. and i know pure can't wait till next week to be there for the grand opening :D in the mean time, check out this pic of the decor of it.. i mean it just LOOKS fun. ...and correct me if i'm wrong, but is that a beedrill at the top of the pic? :D lets have a quick game of 'whos that pokemon' ...in this pic i can make out 6 distinct pokemon.... can you? oh yeah.... i almost forgot that in addition to the ligh and sound shows they have there... they also have life sized animatronic pokemon.... hmmm... i doubt they'd have a life sized steelix, huh? ;) a haiku the tiger salks prey watch out little pikachu raikou eats tonight raikou... haiku.... get it? ;) a haiku about raikou! ...or course if you pronounce it 'RYE-co' as opposed to 'RYE-coo' then this relaly makes little sense... but you gotta admit, its a haiku. :D you'd better click now 'fore i do more poetry you have been forwarned

(it even has the stickers to prove it) well... seemed like this month in coro coro didn't yeild too much in the pokemon department... but it holds promise for next month... maybe even get some e-card online info. anyway, check out the latest poke-toys and gadgets in this month's coro coro report as if they weren't bad enough... i dunno... in the anime these things are depicted as ruthless attacking machines that just attack anything that can be attacked. [random person throws a thesarus at ech] :P anyway, today we happen to have a 'darker than average' beedrill... in fact you could even call him a 'dark' beedrill. :D dark drone from my calculations, we're about 3 weeks out from the big game cube release, and the game everyone (well... me) is waiting for is super smash bothers melee. anyway, there really seems to be a plethor of hidden characters in ssb:m... including some of our pokefriends. like pichu, jugglypuff, and the all feared... WITH PICTURES!!!! :D oh yeah, and he has some fixes too... over in the atelier • and speaking of updates, pure has a big update on sugarshock as well. more cool stuff in the TR section, the pit of dispondency, and the long mailbag of the apocolypse... i must say, i don't like cats, but that one email is really funny! and in case you missed it.... just bringing you a bit more info on card e......thanks to sharkdog for emailing me the info! let's see here.....pokemon card e.... 'It's near, the release date of the Pokemon CardE Reader and the new official expansion 'Pokemon E' (the strange E you've seen om some cards, well thats the expansion symbol on this set). the 'Pokemon E' expansion is to be released on December 1st and will be released in a deck, and loose boosters. the deck contains: One half deck (30 cards, I dont know if these are random, but thats probable), One damage counter sheet (20 counters) plus two markers (probably both poison, cause Ive never seen a generic counter in Japan, but who knows =P) and an instruction booklet ofcourse, set to be sold at 900 Yen (approximately $7.33). Then the booster packs are a tad different this time, so I think that the decks are randomly inserted (buy loads! loads of counters and markers too =P). The boosters are this time randomly inserted with 5 cards (yup, not 10, but 5) as to sorta quote media factory 'Use the 5 pack to make a sufficient original deck with the starter half deck!'. The boosters will be sold at 191 Yen (approximately $1.56) here's the starter deck.....you can see it has the 1st ed symbol... and here is the booster pack......i saw this pic in coro coro this month (gee i better get that section done huh? ^_^') and i wondered if that was what it was.... 'Pokemon E' will be the first set in which EVERY card will have a barcode! woohoo! Thats all the new expansion news, the bulk of information on this email, there's not much new news on the Pokemon CardE reader, just the release date and the price. pic of the e reader box.....
