happy easter everyone!
lets see.... on the horizon we also have the update to the promo page (it would have been done tonight but i kinda forgot about promo number 16 and called number 17 number 16 and totally forgot about number 16.... oooops! ^_^') we'll have another tweak to the sidebar, as well as some work on the anime, and tcg sections... i think i'll work hard to get that all done tomorrow. in the mean time check out the tournament pages. they have all the information you need to plan for the upcoming stadium challenges, as well as events like worlds and origins. and not to mention cool event reports too ;) well, we have a slight
derivation from the usual project zeo cards, to bring you
two chatroom themed cards! and then poinko, not wanting to be left out of the action... (or perhaps cause i told him to..) made a really um... interesting... echybadger card. [looks at echybadger] ECHYBADGER IS REAL!!! ITS NOT A ROCK!!!! [hugs echybadger]

hey! i made it home
without any delays this time! pretty good, huh? anyway, i
really want to thank pure for pulling togeter some really
great updates even tho she's been busy with real life things
for the past couple days and haven't had the time nor energy
to soley focus on the site, but she still did really great
updates.
okay, so as you can see,
we've added the spiffy new league section to the sidebar as
pure alluded to last night... so now you can access that
anytime for reference. also in the next couple days we'll
have some minor updates to the blanks and the accessories
pages.
and to top it off... every
day you can go and get a FREE GIFT too! and these gifts
sound pretty cool in themselves...

well, i THINK i have my whole summer planned out travel wise....i'll hardly be at home for 2 weeks in a row....oh well. i guess i'll need dialup this summer else you'll hardly hear from me. but, maybe the break would be good. ech's been making good time getting back. he's crossed the border and is working his way through manitoba. he'll be home at about noon his time. poor ech. you should all take a long bus trip sometime to really appreciate how much it can suck to travel. on a happy note i got almost all my notes, reports and pictures sent to mtm, so hopefully some of those will make it up on the wotc site soon. and you can all see that i haven't been slacking off all that much ok! some content. marril has completed the league pages for season 3, so go take a look! he'll have his own shiny section soon, with a sidebar link and everything, but for now you'll find it here!
those of you who've been around for a while know all about ddddpp dark golduck.....it was a feature in a deck i built a long time ago and repeatedly whomped ech with. it was the subject of a lot of jokes, mostly at poor ech's expense. anyways, anguris played ddddpp dark golduck at the gym challenge in columbus. and saberslash sent us a nice picture of the duck in action....

has everyone made plans for worlds yet? aaahh......lesseee
here....got to update, got to update. hmm. well, ech's trip
home has been largely event free. he's not snowbound
anyplace, he's slightly ahead of schedule, and for the most
part has managed to secure the highly coveted 'back triple
seat of the bus'. those of you who have gone greyhound know
of what i speak. anyways, i would have made a cute little
'ech across america' graphic but it's late and i'm tired and
i think they cause bad scheduling karma. so, i'll mention
that he has passed through chicago and is en route for
fargo, north dakota right about now. well i spent most of my day working on the stadium notes i took. you can look for articles and pictures to start appearing at wotc in the next few days. some by me and some by mtm who is back from his vacation. buried in professor email and he's still trying to run the events. go mike go! anyways, that's why i'm warning you in advance that the updates for the next few days aren't going to be much since i need to get that info to him. now then....i'm sure i can come up with something for you. oh! how about more snorlax art? two beloved artists and mods from the forums have given me their snorlax card entries......so let's take a look why not? poinko's snorlax art!

go home tonight. :( it was fun having him visit again, i'll
miss him til we see each other again. worlds, at the very
latest. 800 Convention Place Downtown Seattle August 3 & 4, 2002 it's a big room, dmtm assures us, and it sounds like its going to be fun! make those summer travel plans now! hmm.......do i have anything else? not really. i'm going to go help ech pack, and make sure he's got food and all for the trip. i think i tend to drive people slightly nuts when they're getting ready to go on a trip. but at least he'll be prepared for just about anything! anyways, if i feel like it won't totally jinx his trip i'll make some more of those nifty little ech tracking graphics so you can watch him make his way back home. sorry that there's not much tonight, i'd rather sit and talk with ech before he goes. aaaaah i was going to make some blueberry muffins for him to take! ok its official the update is done :D see you all later tomorrow!

...man, the oscars go on
FOREVER... remind me never again to wait until AFTER
watching it for 5 hours to do the update... @_@
lets see here... first up pure has last week's wotc pokemon chat posted and everything. dark mike and pat were going solo this time, as mtm was taking some very much needed time off after the stadium. you can now marvel in the wonders of questions about conductivity, cleffas, and most importantly, a seemlingly endless debacle about why fient attack will set off focus band.
dispite (or perhaps
because of) the egg sauce it was still totally a blast and
we had such a great time. i really can't wait for worlds..

hmmmm.... apparently the
'updates' table has been absent for sometime and we just
kinda never put it back... uh yeah. anyway, mini said he
wasn't updating the atelier on his days cause we didn't have
the nifty table... we didnt have the nifty table cause no
one was updating...
more of the challenge series ran today and it sounded like people generally had a really good time albiet a little bit of controversy in some of the events, they still seemed to go off pretty well. hmmm... gloom is now TWO events behind on reports... [looks significantly at gloom] ...but he has done a lot of deck fixes recently... which is good. but he also hasn't posted them... which is bad... hmmm... anyway! in columbus anguris, pkmnx, and dug's trio (happy neo... i used it... its stuck in my head... you win.. [scowls]) all met and had a good time, and ang has a recap of the event, or at least the important factors of it like the concession stands et al.
...um... yeah. the sad thing is he did it too... and whats even worse is that i'm posting it.

yay! midday update!! well, i had to put up the new league section that marril completed yesterday. it's a really great new addition to the site, he did an AMAZING job on it. he sent us the whole thing ready to upload and go. what a guy! anyways, it should be a good resource for the gym leader population of zeo, which is apparently fairly sizeable. look for monthy kit updates as well as articles by marril and others. enjoy! we'd also like to wish good luck to those at the gym challenges this weekend. we've got staff members at both the toronto ones and the columbus ohio ones. hopefully we'll get some writeups from them soon.
hmm....well, welcome to saturday! update....an update. hmm. well, in an ideal world (for you) i'd have gotten the wotc chat and the photo tour of manhattan with the mt's done and posted...and i guess i'd be giving every site visitor a box of cards...and a pony.....mmmm....in my ideal world, today i would have woken up in hawaii, with nothing else to do but lie in a hammock and read a book. well, it wasn't any of our ideal worlds today, so i don't have the chat, the tour, and i was in manhattan freezing my butt off. oh well... anyways, let's see. well, we were at the pokemon center today. if you are able to get there in march, you can participate in march mini madness. if you play your pokemon mini against a staff member and beat em, you win a prize! ech did it, he won and got another promo #40. go ech! i bought some destiny packs and got a shining noctowl, a light dragonite and unown w. i can't get away from those unowns....then we went to chinatown, looked at stuff there, then decided it was too freaking cold to be outside so we hung around with vash most of the day. he let us sit on the radiator. thanks vash! what else? hmm....well, we went on a grand dinner adventure. there's supposedly a dairy queen in new jersey. so i suggested to vash that we all go there for dinner, for something new and different. so that's what we did...we drove and drove and found it. we went in. there was no place to sit down! my goodness. we looked at the menu. there was no food! only ice cream! well, really.....we asked about the digimon toys. they were OUT! fancy that. so, we got a blizzard and some frozen hot chocolate and went to paramus park mall and ate at chick-fil-a. and got home really late. and thats about it. so, yeah, we were goofing off all day and that's why there's no real update. oh well!

apparently i really did need some sleep! i messed up the professor draft final rounds. it was bob callahan that advanced to the top 4, not chrissy zawadski, and gregory sauk and bob callahan were the final contestants. sorry bob! and i was sitting right next to you the whole time :O sorry for any confusion there, guys.

so everyone is clear, there won't be a sase mail away
for these. the porygons ended up being waaaay too much
hassle, and too many of the people who sent for them were
pushy and ungrateful. so, sorry bout that. and last

for anyone who's wondering, jonathan brooks won in the 10 and under, eric brooks won in the 11-14, and gregory sauk won the professor draft. we'll have complete top 8 info either here or wotc as soon as possible. the event was smaller than an sts, but people seemed to be having fun and things ran pretty smoothly. we did manage to squeeze in one booster draft side event. that was fun. i worked on my team battle deck, and got that ready for the match later on. i traded for some dark tyranitars (one from the brooks' and then the moores' just gave me one--that was so nice of them!) so i could build my tyranitar deck. the worlds tournaments finished up around 5:30, and the professor's rochester draft event ended at around eight. then it was time to feed people--ech, vash, myself, gloom, nova, marril, peep toad, lumaga and firefighter 095 all went to sizzler-- then go look for dmtm. i played a few vs deck matches with marril while we waited for dmtm to be done....anyways it was late when we finally played our team match--dmtm and i against ech and gloom. sadly for the american team, all of dmtm's decks got stolen out of the back room at the event, so the strategy he'd planned was out the window. he borrowed a deck from tom hanley and after changing into our official team battle t shirts, we got down to it. it was a LOT of fun...team play is pretty enjoyable. dmtm and i got off to an early advantage by targeting ech, but gloom got 3 slowkings out and shut off our trainers. i could not draw energy, and dmtm had no idea what was in his borrowed deck, so the match went to canada. the brokeness of shining raichu still has not been proved since he never even saw play, but we all had a lot of fun. i'm looking forward to team play as a sanctioned event. anyways, it was very late then and since we were giving everyone a ride back to the airport on sunday we just crashed in mtm's room for the rest of the night. fun event! if you were there, we'd love to hear about your experience. send us in some writeups at zeo@sugarshock.net . and now i'm just going to sit back and relax a bit. see you all later tonight, we'll have more details and a look at the new zeo promo that we handed out.

In fact, Ech and Pure haven't submitted their bios yet so be sure to nag them on the Zeo Board! Professorships. middle-of-nowhere ontario overnight... dark mike speaks... (you should really listen to the dark one...) kinda reminds me of a phone call i got at 7am one morning... [ech - sleepily] ...hello? [dark voice] ..this is the dark one calling.. ...um yeah. so that really had no point what-so-ever except for the far that it relates to dark mike. heh... i need more sleep. ;) oh yeah! the POINT! dark mike released a quote/unquote press release last night about the next pokemon card set coming out. here's what the dark one had to say.
ooooooh.... that sounds great! hmmm.... sounds to me like the remainder of the vending, plus some others. perhaps nixed promos or something... maybe released cards? no idea... just have to wait and see. :D
