Section Updates Atelier send in DECKS! not too much today.... project zeo is just working with the last few submissions... i keep forgetting to get cards from anguris... and pure and i are busy with worlds preparations. speaking of worlds, check in for a final worlds update later on this week, before we set off on the road to renton! oooh... thats a good one.... have to remember that for a link name for worlds.... anyway, tonight we have a bit of info on the pokemon fiesta. its not much, but its an update :D there's the logo for this years fiesta if you haven't seen it yet. it features a number of pokemon including all of the new ruby/sapphire pokemon advanced pokes that have been released. here we have a scene from the live pokemon stage show... hmmm so a one and a half foot pikachu is played by a five or six foot tall person..... i'm not ure if i hold much hope for there being a tyranitar or lugia in the show ;) and this here is a freaking wicked looking mural of mewtwo strikes back. you have mew and mewtwo and then the background is mewtwo's island. [whistles] we've also seen the one with suicune and celebi.... i'd love to see the one for revelation lugia and lord of the unown tower too! :D anyway, as the fiesta continues we'll see if we can get more pics and info :)

Section Updates Atelier send in DECKS! Main Archive july updates worlds is just around the corner and we're gearing up for the pokemon event of the year.. so if we dont update every day for the next little bit, you'll know why. we want to make sure everything is all finished within the next few days cause the event is in less than two weeks. aaaaanyway, tonight we have one of the last few straggling project zeo cards (where is MY card eric?!) along with some japanese promos. so then what to choose first.... //roll-dices2-dice1 [waits] oooh yeeeeeah.. this isn't the chatroom. guess we'll just have to pick ourselves. Hey look! It's Project Z.E.O. and they're back with another new card for your viewing pleasure! This time around they give us another trainer courtesy of one DarkPoinko, which features a very familiar character! In any case, here is tonight's card, enjoy! This guy really gets around. hmmm.... i dunno... i think that it would have been more ash-like if you searched your opponent's deck for pokemon.... i mean since when does ash get and keep pokemon for himself, right? ;) still, its a really good card, like an erika that you can choose with. ...or like a challenge but with evolved pokemon... and um.... yeah, its a good card ^_^ we also have some cool new japanese promo cards from togetic. Promos #38, 39, 40, and 41 (Pikachu, Crystal Energy, Boost Energy, and Warp Energy) were released in the Pokemon Summer Fiesta on 7/20/2002 in Hotukaido. You have to have 3 points to get these cards. pokemon summer fiesta?! ok.. that just sounds cool. anyway, thanks to togetic we have pics of all four of these promo cards, and we'll be updating the japanese promo page in the next day or so (hmmm...... we have #28... this is number 38.... great... 10 missing cards... >_<) how come we get a pika instead of that mewtwo?! energy boost!

Section Updates Atelier send in DECKS! Hey Zeophytes... and the rest! marril here again... for I think it, a 3rd time... [thinks: 'I must really done something not good...'] It seems I am filling in for ech again, so lets see what he left for me to update [looks into the folder...] hmm... ok well uh... yeah. What's everyone up to? Today according to wizards should be League Year 3 season psychic week 4... for some reason we are on grass week 7 now @_@ so... ooh! Wizards has put up some new articles in the Pokemon section :D. This should keep them entertain... er make content! Master Trainer-in-Training Will Show to Build a Deck! Random Zeophyte: But most of us all know how to do that marril! -_-... Oh worlds is coming up so quickly, are you going? Be sure to stop by and say 'hi' to the staff that will be able to make it. Worlds seems like it will be a blast, with the main tournament, and the professors doing the fun judging and professor only event... and those side tournaments, yeah! (Editors note: side events are where I can only stand right now :/). So if you are heading to Seattle for worlds, let Purity know! Are you going now?! Good... (please only post if you are going, we are sorry if you cant make it) How about Big Brother 3 USA? Lori, the 37-year-old Bank Representative from Foxboro, WI recently became the latest houseguest voted out of the house... This season seems to be turning out to be a lot better than the past seasons, in ratings (I still say season 1 was great, it was the original format...). Its kind of funny when you think about it... people in the USA say Big Brother is horrible, the Australian version seems to do really well... yet they haven't had anything more then 1 season of survivor ^_^... [gets hit with a rock] ow... ok, moving on... Uh... nothing more, I really need some update material here... I don't know how ech and pure do this every night @_@. echidnadsn presents the updater with question #1 from randomzeophyte: If my opponent played Zeo Edition Scizor and used its Pokémon Power: Excutioner's Grasp, and knocked out one of my Pokémon, then I got my Zeo Edition Scizor out, would I be able to use Executioner's Grasp? Interesting question you have their randomzeophyte... in fact this question and more will be explained soon in an upcoming project I am working on for the site... [Gasp!] Yes I am actually doing a project info leek! Section Updates Atelier send in DECKS! ...dont know how it got so late.... i gotta get up in like 2 hours so let's hurry :) today we'll talk about [checks his itinerary] more movie 5 propaganda and some WORLDS info! ooooh okay, one of the cool things about the pokemon movies in japan, is they get COOL STUFF... i mean sure, WE can buy a special popcorn bucket or something, but look at what you can get there! dont be so flippant im just a hologram, ma'am i mean sure you have to BUY it... but look at how cool it is. the hologram actually i believe is a phone card.... and the coin is just a collector's coin. but still, add that to the vs deck and everything else.... makes going to the movies a lot more fun. alrighty... as promised wizards updated their site with more worlds info and an updated faq... nothing but the faqs [skims over it] ...lessee.... trophies.... backpacks.... lots of pokemon... tickets to hawaii... O_O woah! yeah, thats right, the winners of the main events at words get.... a trophy, 60 holo energy of each type, backpack... PLUS.... two tickets to the tropical mega battle in hawaii... AND... 'lots of pokemon' which by definition is 1 box of EVERY released set... base through legenary. so um.... you get like 12 freaking BOXES of cards..... @_@ also, sadly as you know the expedition prerelease tournament was canceled because of production run problem, and in its place they have a 'theme deck sealed challenge' ...not too exciting right? well..... the prizes are! the top prize for that one event is 'pokemon card-e for life' which they describe it as a box of each pokemon card-e expansion that wizards produces as soon as its released! ...suddenly that blaine deck got a a little more interesting. and just to give you a SMALL card-e preview... Many things frighten people. Spiders. Cockroaches. AngurisNeo(shudders). But if there's one thing EVERYONE should be afraid of, it's a 20 foot tall Dunsparce!! Section Updates Atelier update! wow... somehow we totally got outta wack on the days... heh... for the record we DID update both monday and tuesday, even tho they were labeled as sunday and monday... or rather sunday2 and monday. or something.... [wonders if he's lost people yet] aaaaaaanyway..... today is the kickoff of macworld expo and pure gets to go see it in person again (damn, i would give anything to be there.... <sniff>) along with vash, gloom and jolt. so then, if you missed the past two updates for some wacky unknown reason, you can go take a look at them now, or you can join us in watching the macworld keynote over 'live streaming video!!'.... its a mac thing :D anyway, the live broadcast is at 9am est/6am pst and generally they replay it every three hours after that. keynote? its not just a note about keys anymore

[nestikal is chosen by ech] o.o;; well, a lot of news in the pokemon world! the long awaited Pokemon Advance is being released in Japan on November 21, 2002! and know what? its not Pokemon Advance, its Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sappphire! also some news about the pokemon in it: this is Pelliper it's a water bird pokemon, 3'11" in height and it weighs 62 lbs. this feller is named Samehader in Japan. its a Ferocious Pokemon, its 5'10" in height and weighs 195 lbs. this odd looking pokemon's Japanese name is Kinococo. it's 1' 4" and weighs 9.9 pounds.   there's also a bunch of screenies for your viewing pleasure:   also, the new pokemon games will feature two on two pokemon matches! yay! heres some more screens:   also, heres two trainers you'll be able to choose from: better yet, you, the trainer, will sport a brand new pokedex! in other news, another Pokemon tournement is coming to a region near you! Hey everyone, marril here again, updating the main page… hmm [looks at check list ech left him] Get cheese Pick up league kit Find update content Hmm… lets see… uh, oh the next Zeo Online Tournament event. pkmnx and I have been busy working on the next tournament date. Currently it seems that we are looking at July 27th, 2002… a Saturday again. The deck format will be Zeo-Modified but with a twist… that twist will be released first. But why wait for the event to play? Register today and start playing for points… but there is more, when you sign up to play, you get added to the ZOT Players Mailing list which will give you up to date information on upcoming Zeo Online Tourname… [realizes he is sounding like a TV paid ad…] okay… moving on… Just when you thought Pokemon Vs was long gone during the Ecard sets, another 'half' 30 card deck was recently released in Japan along with the 5th Pokemon movie. This Vs deck contains 2 'classic' gym leaders, Misty, and Brock, along with some trainers I marked as Unknown… 2 girls (who I think are Rocket members), and then some weird other trainer… yeah… anyways, take a look at the Next Vs! Section Updates Atelier send in MORE decks! Main Archive july 7th - 13th anyone want an update from the FUTURE?!?! [editor's note: those who have visited zeo for a long time remember the times when ech used a fishbowl as a crystal ball... we here at zeo would like to assure you that this is NOT one of those times and although he is looking into the future, no fish were harmed in the making of this update.] pure went and got last month's coro coro today... and along with that she got THIS month's coro coro A WEEK EARLY! :O. so naturally we [meaning pure, cause i am not there of course ;)] tore through it and found... a bunch of upcoming pokemon info! now, she madly scanned a bunch of the pics, but didn't have time to do the full coro coro report tonight, but since we DO want to know all that she found... we get to have a PREVIEW of a lot of it.... so then you ask... WHAT do we have? lessee.... we have some new pokemon mini stuff.... some ecard4 pics... the vs cards from yesterday... annnnnnnnd.... oh yeah... and pokemon advance info! first up we'll show you all the cool new pokemon mini game staring those wacky happy pichu brothers called.... well, called pichu brothers! pichu pi? ok, from this the only thing we know is that one of the pichus is riding a cute lil skateboard (which may or may NOT be in the game... hmmm....) and that the title screen has the word pichu brothers. ok.. none too exciting, but we DO know that it comes out on august 9th. [looks again] um... or september 8th.... [checks again] ..of course those numbers could mean ABSOLUTELY nothing.... HEY! LOOK AT THAT SKATEBOARD! :O alrighty, moving on to slightly more graphical info is news on ecard 4! it seems like just two months ago we got ecard 3 and already we're looking at ecard 4... man... i still dont have any ecard 2 ^_^' for the fourth installment we move to the western part of the 'continent' and get to explore some of the pokemon there.... west coast rockin! is it just me, or does that look A LOT like america.... i've always thought that actually... anyway, we also have a new crystal pokemon in this set! at least one that is... its a white star rare like the others and it has the same crystal pokemon body.. man, i so want to get one of these cards, they just look so great... and those are from scans. crystal rainbow and there also appears to be a NEW trainer type as well... its like a tm, but its NOT a tm.... get it? hmmm, cause we're not really 100% sure, although after a lot of deliberation we thought that these new cards could be..... HIDDEN POWER! the translation roughly comes out to be 'mystery plate alpha' and then it has the smaller text beside it. i dunno... these could be hidden powers, or they could be something totally different. no so hidden, IS it?! and the final final thing we have for this update is..... POKEMON ADVANCE! lets see.... why won't we start off with a nice new screenshot? these castle walls.... i mean it DOES kinda look like a castle, with a fence around it, and it being all tall and castle like... right? ok.... so it might not be a castle, by we DO have a shark, a pelican and a.... um.... THING.... oh my! three new pokemon pics and stats were released in the magazine, and i must say its about time we got a shark pokemon... now maybe the magikarp and goldeen population won't be so high! >:D pelicans and sharks and other things, OH MY! i dont know why, but i feel compelled to have this shark thing... many of these shark things... i want these shark things to eat small magikarp and tentacool... i want to take two of these shark things and battle them BOTH against two of my opponent's pokemon in a tag team match! wait!!! in pokemon advance it looks like YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! we have some screen shots here of pokemon 2 on 2 battles... and it clearly is 2 pokemon vs another 2 pokemon.... and he goes for the tag.... anyway, those are all the screens we have for right now, although we do have about a dozen more pics as well of all the things listed here... as well as a lot that pure still has to scan! anyway, we'll try and get a more formal coro coro section up for you soon... its just reeeeeeeeeeeally busy around here right now. worlds is only 3 weeks away @_@

Section Updates Atelier a deck wooo! today is the official opening of the new pokemon movie in japan! now we can FINALLY see whats in those cool vs half decks for sale through the movie! [waits] [waits more] .....okay! first we have to get people that HAVE those cool vs half decks. hmmm.... but wait! we do have SOME pics of them! plus we have some pics from the opening theatrical release! plus we have a pic of a really cool promo card featuring all the pokemon from all the five movies! wooooo! a hero's welcome premier gala and also just so we can update with some more promos... we have a bunch of new japanese ones too.... albeit not really knowing where they fit into the grand scheme of things, we DO have them! pikachu mewtwo pichu entei lugia celebi and just to end off our promotional blitz today, marril also updated the english promo pages with better scans of a lot of the pics, as well as scans of all the energy up to now. promos WE'LL actually see! and speaking of seeing new promos.... we'll see... here is one we'll see fairly soon too! its teh preproduction art for promo number 49, snorlax. lucky snorlax gets to sleep.... thanks to soslowpoke for the pic

Section Updates Atelier send in decks so.... tired.... heh. ok, the update will be short on words cause we have a bunch of content instead... that and the fact i was fighting with photoshop to get things to work, but hey! it's here and its done! woo! first for the not so exciting news.... ;) the wotc chat was really short yesterday mainly cause the mt's were in and out (mostly in) meetings all day... but never ones to shirk their duties, they dutifully answers questions about duties.... get it? well, if not, we got it. ....good.   and secondly we have a new trio of promo cards from that wacky japanese trainer magazine... uh.. trainer magazine. [man, i really gotta come up with better material....] last month featured bayleef, quilava and croconaw... and this month features those long forgotten stage 1 classics. Well, the cards are really starting to slim down, so its seems Project Z.E.O. is just about done with, but they managed to snag one heck of a card for tonight's update! This time around we got that fire-using, tooth-showing, Pikachu and Pichu chasing doggy Pokémon, HOUNDOUR! With awesome artwork donated by Purity, and some scary attacks contributed by Eric, here's tonight's card, enjoy!   The reason its a good idea to CATCH wild Pokémon...   Big thanks to everyone who gave us a hand with your art, attacks, and ideas. This set was a great little adventure, and we where proud to be part of it! ~P:Z.E.O. team. and as an added bonus, we also have the full size art in desktop picture form! you kinda miss a lot of the details on the card, but this was all done in CRAYON.. yes that long forgotten medium. i've already heard of a few people switching desktop pics tonight... i mean come on... its a cute lil doggie... its a fiery hellhound... what more would you want? nice doggie..

His father brought home a video-game console, spent an hour or so setting it up and as soon as the game - Pong - appeared, Stephen was hooked. ``I'll never forget the little white square I saw on the television,'' the Whidbey Island resident said wistfully. Now 24, and wearing a 15-inch flat-screen TV on his chest, a pack full of batteries on his back and a game console and joysticks dangling from his waist, Pelletier is one of approximately 50 video-game aficionados hired by Nintendo to be walking video games this summer. ``I don't consider this work. Smiling and having fun with video games is just the best,'' he said. ``How can you go wrong?'' He may soon find out. Pelletier and fellow members of the Nintendo Street Team gathered Monday for the start of a two-day training session, on everything from the history of Nintendo to how to handle difficult situations with aggressive gamers who won't let you get away. This weekend, work officially begins as the Nintendo Street Team hits malls, concerts and other events in six cities across the country. The mission: To drum up interest in the latest releases from the Redmond-based video game developer. The uniform is part Super Mario, part Teletubbies. Members in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Seattle, will wear either the 30-pound Game Cube set up like Pelletier's, or less cumbersome belts with GameBoy Advance handheld devices. For six hours a day every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through mid-August, they'll solicit shoppers and passers-by to grab a joystick and play a few video games on them - with enough controllers or other devices for as many as 40 people to play at a time. And, a la reality TV, groupies can keep track of the team members on a Web site with diary entries, photos, popularity polls and online chats. Training includes learning the ins and outs of each game, how to fend off persistent game players and how to politely intervene between overly competitive players. The campaign comes as the video game industry has surged and as high-profile companies - including Nintendo neighbor Microsoft Corp. - are dedicating billions of dollars over the next several years to capturing video game players through traditional consoles and online. Worldwide, consumers spent $20.9 billion last year on video game hardware and software with a little less than half coming in North America, said Schelley Olhava, senior analyst with International Data Corp. The team members, who range in age from 18 to 27 years old, were selected from 700 applicants and will receive $100 a day for their work. Section Updates Atelier send in decks! [opens up his email. plus it into golive. reads it over] Hey ech. Here's ninetales. It was actually made a long while back but when I got a virus, it wiped out a lot of stuff including this card. It has the same art, but different attacks. So here's the intro text. BTW, anything in {} isn't supposed to be posted on the site ;-). [makes mental note to remove anything in cute lil curly brackets] Tonight's new card is Ninetales! Ok... so it's really only half new. You see, back when one of the pzeo member's hard drives got messed up by a virus, a lot of the files got erased... including this card. So here it is, remade. There are new attacks, but the art is the old one by espeon which you may or may not remember, hence the "half new" part. So, with art and attacks by espeonx, here's half new Ninetales! {HERE is the link ech ;-)} *sings the song with "Ragin' Fire" in it* [quickly removes the text inside the cute lil curly brackets] whew... that coulda been bad... im glad espers told me about those cute lil curly brackets... There ya go ech. Most likely spearow will be up tomorrow. After those 2, I guess all that's left is Nidoqueen... I might have to bring out a lightsaber trainer to help hold zeo off a couple days... yeah, so, here ya go! *almost forgets to put the url to the card in the email* Wow... that would've been embarrassing. Cya! -Esp [ech] ....yup... i'm sure glad that poor esp didn't get embarrassed.... so the fifth movie opens in japan at the end of this week, and yesterday nintendo released some pokemon advance info! pokemon advance will be available november 21st (in japan) and as per usual it will come in two versions (yet to be named) no word on the official number of new pokemon, but most likely it'll be 100 as people suggested, but we'll just have to wait for more info to leak out. they also released (another) new gba to commemorate the fifth movie. the new incarnation of the popular handheld gaming device is a mix of pink and indigo, after latios, and lataos the two new legendary pokemon in pokemon 5. new gba! it retails for 88,000¥, or about $90 american, so slightly more than the average gba... but its pinkish! and indigoish! and it has cool new pokes on it! and you can also buy a matching case for it! case study! pretty sleek... although i think i'd opt for that cool new titanium one instead..... its cooler and also easier to get here ;) and just a quick update.... pure's got all the origins pics off the camera and pasted up, all she has to finish is writing it up and they should be posted tomorrow night, so can't wait for those! :D

Main Archive july 1st - 7th pokemoncenter.com updated their website today... major overhaul is more like it. it is about 234% easier to navigate now, but its also 87% more boring too.... sadly its lost ALL of its spark and now just looks like any other website trying to sell you something... :( Whoaaaaaaaaaa nelly, it's Project Z.E.O., and they got another card for you to check out! This time around, we got the tiny little spiked dude that someday, is gonna grow up to be a big bad King of a Pokémon, Nidoran (Insert Male symbol here), with artwork donated by Kerri Aitken, and some cool attacks thought up by Marril2k, here's tonight's card, enjoy!   I'm a little guy, yeah, but I can gnaw your leg like no one's business!   Well, there's no more Pokémon we need art for, big thanks to everyone who was kind enough to lend a hand, we appreciate it! ...can't believe I said 'Whoa nelly' tho...o.o" heh [ech] ...me neither o_O   and lets see... now origins is OFFICIALLY over, and its all just a memory.... AND WRITEUP! :D we have to origin reports for you tonight.... one by andy light kai (i'm sure you remember his name from a lot of project zeo cards....) and secondly from pure. andy actually sent me his last night, but i got it after the update, so its going up tonight.... and pure wrote her's on the way home.. and from the looks of how in depth it is (7 pages... @_@) she wrote it ALL the way home. origins by andy pure's COMPLETE origins writeup pure also has to work through her pictures, so hopefully we'll see those soon, although she has more houseguests this week... poor pure... no rest for her. anyway, origins really sounded like a blast, and now there is nothing standing between now and worlds (well, except those pesky three and a half weeks of course...) guess we'll just have to see who's going to that and how it goes. i sure do wish i could have been at origins tho... ah well.... maybe worlds, eh? ;)
