okay, senor gnomey, finally here. yup, origins sure was SPANKTASTIC!
i woke up around 10:15 in the morning, because i was so tired from cedar point. my mom woke me up, i got ready, and we left the house around 10:45. we had to go get gas and my mom made me eat an old fortune cookie.

yup. we got at origins around... 11:30, maybe, after driving around by the wonder bread building on closed roads trying to find the parking lot. we found a fairly close spot, and we walked inside. my mom and i got into the event registration line, asked around to see if it was the right line, and it wasn't. so then we went to the on-site registration booths, and got registered there. my mom wanted to go to an acting seminar where one of the people leading it was her crush from babylon 5. i didn't want to go, so she let me wonder around to find everyone.
i started walking down the hallway, and i saw ang and vash. we wandered into the back of hall F, where pure and peep and pkmnx and saberslash were. i waved hi to everyone, and pure gave me a STUFFED LOBSTER!!!!! i was so happy. :)
we played around and took pictures for a bit, then decided we were hungry and we went to the food hall. ang kept cracking jokes about this place called "chicken 'n eggs" (scrambled chicken anyone? no thanks, i'd rather go to kentucky fried eggs...) we all stood in line and got our food, and peep decided he would eat these spicy hot pepper things. his eyes started watering. "they aren't spicy!!!"
next, i think we just went back to where we were before, and saber wondered off. ang and i went looking for him in the historical miniatures hall, and we saw these really neat weapons there.. they had a baterang, a replica of han solo's gun from star wars, and some neat staffs that turned into swords. i had to meet my mom in 15 minutes, so i ran back to the food hall, told her i had already eaten, and ran back to hall f. we just sat around, and pure took a picture of me with her i zone camera. i'm not good at posing for pictures, though.. you have to get me in my natural habitat. we talked for a while, and peep ran off once he heard that saber had made around $50 selling cards. i played vash, and it was kind of fun because we both didn't really know how to play. he beat me the first time, but when we went up to the table (where each person pulls a card out from a box, and the winner of that game decides which card they want) vash was really nice and said i won. so i got a point! i played him again and i beat him. yay! two points! (too bad they wouldn't last for long...)
then pure bought a box of the legendary collection, and we each picked 4 booster packs and built our decks from those. i got some good cards... like holo kakuna! actually, i did get two gengar... but i didn't get a haunter or gastly. i only got one energy, and pure was really nice and let me use some of her fire and fighting energy :D
ang had to leave in about 20 minutes, so he didn't want to start playing then have to leave. poor ang.
first, i played pure. she beat me good... i hardly got a chance to attack. but that's okay, it was still a fun game. then i played... um... vash, i think. he beat me, again. then i played pk, who beat me really good. then i played saber, who whooped me real good... i didn't get a chance to play peep or warlord, though. oh well, even though i lost, they were all really good games.
let's see... after we had pretty much finished playing, pk had to leave. by then, it was about 7, and i had to meet up with my mom again at 7:30. i don't remember what we did until then... i think we just talked and played a few more games, but we were getting pretty tired. someone asked vash what time it was, and i think he said 7:40. ack!! i ran to go meet my mom, and told her about how we wanted to all go eat dinner, and i ran back to hall F, and talked with vash about it, then vash and pure talked about it, and we decided we would all go eat dinner. vash and i were going to go tell my mom, but when we were walking out of the hall, we saw her. all three of us went back to the table where everyone else was, and told them we were going to eat dinner. ray, pure, vash, me, my mom, peep, warlord, and saberslash all walked down to the end of the main hallway, where we thought we could go out, then thought we couldn't go out, then got confused. we went over to a map-type dohickey and finally decided that high street was right there, and walked out the doors. we walked the whoooooole length of the convention center (man, that thing is one long building!) and rounded the corner. a max and erma's was about a quarter of a block down the street, i think, and we decided we'd go there to eat dinner. we walked in, really tired at this point, and they told us that it would be a 10-15 minute wait. we sat down on some chairs and talked a little bit, and maybe, 7 minutes later, we sat down at a table. it was kind of cramped, but still ok. pure, vash, my mom and i sat on one end of the table, and warlord and saber and peep and ray sat on the other. they all kind of talked in a group and we all kind of talked in a group. we ordered our drinks, then our food, and man, was it a long wait. i think we waited an hour for our food, i'm not sure. we talked about alligators, and iguanas, and chimps and stuff. pure really had some interesting stories. we FINALLY got our food, and i ate my chicken fingers and gave most of my fries to vash. we all finished and walked out onto the patio-thingy in front of the restaurant, and we hugged and said our goodbyes. pure gave me a hug for ech and poinko and everyone :). i kind of felt bad though, because we got out of the building around 9:40, and i think the rest of them were going to eat another dinner.
my mom walked down to the parking lot, got in our car, and drove off. parking ended up free! the lady said that "they" were closed, and we didn't have to pay anything. i guess if you leave after 9:30, parking is free.
all in all, i thought origins was really fun. I GOT A STUFFED LOBSTER!!!!
