Link had the following to say:

The point is to use Dark Muk to Poison the defending pokemon. With out playing trainers the defending pokemon has to pay two more to retreat.

Nova had this to say in response:

Excellent. This person thinks exactly like I do. Just my style.

Pokemon first. Drop the dratini and dragonair, they just take the focus away from the cards you actually want to get out. Besides, three evolutions is pushing it. Also, drop the woopers, and replace the promo cleffas with the genesis ones. That's seven extra cards. Push the grimers to four, the Dark Muks to three, the Dark Glooms to four, the Dark Vileplumes to three. Oh, and add another cleffa. That leaves two cards. Right now you have eleven basics, which is too few. You're running a serious risk of a first-turn KO. So add two of a nice default pokemon. Since most of your heavy hitters are at a high evolution level, I'd suggest using elekid, to hold down the fort until you can get the big guns armed and ready.

24 is too much energy. Drop it to 19.

That leaves five extra spots for trainers. First things first, since there aren't many big colourless pokemon in modified (I'm assuming that since they were all modified cards, you're looking to play modified), switch the sprout tower for Rocket's Hideout. Unless this deck is destined for team, in which case you should keep the Sprout Towers. Push Elms to three. But even with the extra Elm, I think you're going to have trouble getting to the cards you need at any given time, what with having so many cards needed in any given combination for this deck. The breeder fields help, but I'm going to suggest you drop in four Erikas. What can I say? Old habits die hard. In any case, though, it would be a good idea to drop in another IOR. But without playing the deck, I can't predict what's going to be totally useless in actual play. I'm going to have to suggest that you play a few games, and find a card you think you can live without. Drop that card for another IOR. Just from the looks of things, it's probably going to be a Sabrina's Gaze or another energy. But play a few games, see what happens.

That oughta do it. Ensures that the pokemon will come up a bit more often when you need them, and a bit of a trainer overhaul. Should run a bit more smoothly, at least. If you start running into problems with two little energy, drop the Rocket's Sneak Attacks for either two more energy, or more likely, some Nightly Garbage Run.
