Politoed3 had this to say about his deck:

I'd like you to look at my deck. I'll take any suggestions. Thanks!

Nova had this to say in response:

I think I mentioned a while back that I love it when people leave me with no instructions whatsoever as to what their deck is about, how to use it, or what changes they’d like to make. Apparently, people took that two ways: They should give me free rein to do whatever I’d like with their decks, and they should immediately send the atelier inbox into a state of permanent nothingness. By which I mean that people decided to stop sending in decks. SEND US YOUR DECKS. WE WILL FIX THEM, AND IT WON’T COST YOU A DIME. Come on, there’s no way we’ve fixed every deck in the world already. It’s getting kind of quiet here in the hollowed out mountain where the Atelier Deck Fixers live. And the hollowed-out mountain has ‘Nova Rules!’ written across it in fifty-foot letters.

Having said that, I will get to the actual fix. As is so often true with all decks, mostly all this deck lacks is focus. Lots of a single card will serve you better in the end than will lots of different cards. I’m also going to assume that expedition charizard doesn’t serve much of a purpose in a deck that features mostly fire energy anyway. So I’m going to drop the whole charizard line. Get rid of the growlithe, too, there’s not much point without an arcanine. The magmars go too, only this time, replace them with three fossil magmars. Fossil magmar is one of the most consistently reliable pokemon in the game. The slugma, put in three more, and toss in three revelation magcargo. You might see where this is going, if you keep your eye on popular archetypes. Take out your promo entei and replace it with three holo revelation entei. This deck has now officially kicked into overdrive. Please do not unbuckle your seatbelts.

Drop all pokemon that I haven’t mentioned yet. They’ll just get in your way. For backup, toss in three cleffas and three tyrogues. That rounds out your pokemon selection.

As for your trainers, I’m going to do more or less a total overhaul. The elms I like. Keep those, and add in another one. Also throw in three copycats. Put in three computer searches and two item finders. Follow it up with three scoop ups, two additional focus bands, and two healing fields. Then, for good measure, throw in two town volunteers, my new favourite for getting cards getting back from the dead. The trainer set is pretty standard, with the exception of the scoop ups, which are required to drive the enteis home.

Round out the deck with as much fire energy as you can stuff into a straw-filled barn in summer (?), and you’ve got yourself a powerhouse of a deck. Use the enteis over and over to make sure that you’ve got plenty of fire energy backing you up, scooping them up after each use. The magcargos are your big hitters, here. And boy do they ever hit. You can afford to dump as much energy as is required to kill the enemy pokemon more or less every turn.

Pokemon (19):

4 Slugma (Discovery)

3 Magcargo (Revelation)

3 Entei (Revelation)

3 Magmar (Fossil)

3 Cleffa (Genesis)

3 Tyrogue (Discovery)

Trainers (24):

3 Professor Elm

3 Copycat

3 Computer Search

2 Item Finder

3 Scoop Up

3 Focus Band

2 Healing Field

2 Town Volunteers

Energy (17):

17 Fire Energy

Hmm…17 sounds a little low for energy. If you’re comfortable with fewer pokemon, you could drop the fossil magmars and replace them with energy. They’re good, but the rest of the deck is good, too. Good luck with this. It can be a powerful deck, but it’ll take practice.
