Hi all!

Gloom here tonight with another deck! This one is a Kingdra Steelix - it needed some serious help, especially with the evolution lines. However, it should be running alot better now that we're through with it. ;D

No-Name Kingdra/Steelix (Modified)

Thanks for sending it in ILC!

Hi all!

Gloom here with a fast update - a fire deck from Procrastination Ally's gym.

Prismatic Fire (Modified)

Woo! That's it for today. Another deck will be posted up tomorrow, and then I'm going to focus on doing a bunch of deck profiles over the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for stopping by, and keep sending in those decks!

Ok, so technically, that was an intro line, and today I don't actually believe I've done anything amazing.

Hmm.

*thinks*

*leaps over a building and outruns a bullet, AT THE SAME TIME!*

Whew! There we go. Ok, so up and fixed for today we have two decks. The first is an Unlimited hay from Bullados:

Beatdown Revisited (Unlimited)

Second, is what ends up being a psychic-electric pseudo bench-hunter.

Prehistoric Beam (Unlimited)

Whew! We've cleaned out the inbox here at the Atelier, so, we need more decks to be sent in! If you submitted your deck but it wasn't posted here tonight, fear not, it'll be up soon in the coming week!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi all!

Been a while since I did an atelier. I'm working on alot of Analyst material right now, but figured, hey, why not, might as well do some atelier work as well. Up tonight is a Dark Gatr/Noctowl deck that focuses on disruption and denial - very cool, and I loooooooove Genesis Noctowl. Great card, and a pretty great deck - almost more of a tweak than a fix.

Dark NocLock (Modified)

Thanks for sending it in Bullados!

Keep sending in decks! The Atelier is ramping up now that we're getting more submissions, so your deck will be fixed and posted as quick as we can. ;D

I'm feeling pretty torn right now. On the one hand, it's totally excellent to see that we've been getting so many well-constructed decks into the Atelier, and on the other hand, it leaves me feeling really stupid, because people are sending us their decks saying 'Please make these better!' and I have no real changes that will help them in any real way. It's great that people have obviously been watching the deck fixes and learning from them, and it rocks that we're getting less and less decks, because that means that people's decks are getting better for it. Either that or it means that the decks we fix here suck, and eventually everyone just gives up. I'd like to think it's the first. In either case, if we do screw up, and especially if I specifically screw up, please, please, please email me, nova@sugarshock.net, and tell me how much I suck. The only way I'll ever learn about anything is if someone tells me that I suck. If I hear from no one, I will continue to assume that I am an amazing deck mechanic, and that we of the Atelier have improved the ability of pokemon players overall.

Outside of that editorial (the full text of which is included in the fix - skip over it if you read it there), I have something actually to say. A deck by Peter, which I named with a certain gusto.

Meganium Madness from Pluto Mark IV: Doctor Destructo Readies His Death Beam of Incredible Destructive Power

I would have made it longer, but it got truncated as it was.

A lovely dark gengar deck this time. Once again, I took a bit of a creative slant, keeping much of Guillotine88 (I can't remember how he actually formats his name - sorry)'s original pokemon strategy. A bit of a minor fix card-wise, but the impact should really show in his gameplay.

I had to go out this weekend, because if I didn't, a good friend of mine would have hunted me down and killed me like a dog. Great friends, I have. I sure can pick them. So that's why there was no update this weekend. But here's one now, by Bulbasnore!

Double Echo!

Ah, man, and I just realized that I forgot to edit the code, so it's the attack of the ultra-miniature logos again. Booo.

Ok!

Gloom here, back from minneapolis, and happily returning to a few decks that need fixing in the atelier inbox! We went a few days without submissions, buuuuut we have a few now so this week should be content-rich. Up today we have a deck called Black Wave, a psychic/darkness deck that had some good ideas, but needed a serious overhaul. This new version should treat its user quite well in comparison.

Black Wave!

Whew. Ok! Keep those decks rolling in, and we'll keep fixing them. Thanks for sending them in!

Enjoy. And here's hoping you have a great weekend. You know, once we get there.

All right, a somewhat diminuitive fix here, by Josh. It's an unnamed Lugia deck, which I named: Leapin' Lugias!...and several other things.

Lugias with Guns. Big ones.

Props to Josh. An excellently constructed deck to begin with.

That's right, it's my (Gloom) second update this weekend, and I just wanted to make sure that all of you know that I do NOT bring you peace and love, instead I bring you terror, death, destruction, and a whole bunch of other really messed up stuff. I hope you're afraid; the mere mortals that I've crushed under my scaled claws thus far seemed duly freaked out.

Here is a deck made by someone, about a cross between a venusaur and charizard deck. Needless to say, neither pokemon, incredible as their powers may be, measure up to the awesome scaly power of Gloomzilla.

Have a terror-filled rest of the week, everybody. If you live in Tokyo, watch for my rampage later this week. You'll recognize me because I'll be the one in the emerald sunglasses, and who is fifty feet tall and breathes fire for no reason.

That's too bad.

Wow. Evil Joe rocks at coming up with names for things, including himself. That's amazing.

Well, see you all again real soon.

Behold! Watch, as I magically transform a dark Gatr deck in an Espeon/Krow/Noctowl! *flourishes a bright green handkerchief that then bursts into flames*
