I keep the Misdreavous cause it gets around that gosh darn metal energy, cause around me about 60% of the decks are steelix. The trainers are self explanitory, and i think the energy balance is right. I don't think i missed anything. Hope you can help, cause I'm out of ideas. -Warlord Nova had this to say in response: Warlord, to start off, you might be a little surprised to see me instead of Gloom fixing this deck. Well, the truth is, there was nothing for me to do, and rather than let me have a break, Gloom, slave-driver that he is, valiantly offered to let me fix this deck instead of him. Can you feel the sarcasm? All sarcasm aside (Gloom does far more work here than me – I feel so guilty!), I’m actually mildly saddened that he gave me this one, because I enjoy doing fixes, and this one doesn’t look particularly complicated to fix; you shouldn’t have too big problems running this deck as-is. My only major advice is to switch out the Bills for the more reliable and far more useful Copycat. Disappointing, but that’s just about it. This deck should run fine. My only personal issue is with the use of one misdreavus. Everything in my experience screams that this is a major no-no, both from the point of view that using one of a card is a bad move (even with all those pokemon-searching utilities, I shudder) and from my own experience, that misdreavus isn’t as good as murkrow as backup for the big ghost himself, Dark Gengar. If there’s a lot of steelix in your area, then misdreavus might be the right way to go, and I would routinely suggest swapping in more misdreavuses, probably at the expense of switching out your other support pokemon, murkrow. However, that would leave you totally vulnerable to dark, or another psychic-resistant deck. By the opposite logic, to increase your efficiency against such decks, you should add at least one murkrow, but that probably means taking out your misdreavus, and you said that you need it. Badly. What you need, then, is some way to increase your count of both pokemon, to make sure you’re well-protected on both fronts, which believe me, you’ll need to be. So what do you get rid of? I’d suggest that you could probably leave the murkrow count alone, as long as it works pretty well for you, and just bump the misdreavus count up by one. So drop a Boss’ Way, which is the only thing that leaps out at me as being even remotely removable, and put in a misdreavus instead. If you have trouble with psychic resistance, drop an energy and put in another murkrow. If you have trouble with steelix and other metal and damage-reduction based decks, drop an energy and put in a misdreavus. It depends on the situation. For now, I’m just going to assume that everything works fine without switching out energy. Which simultaneously makes this one of the most depressingly small fixes I have ever done.
