ecard!

hey, here's a scan of the first e card promo. ooooo, kakureon! wow i was happy when i saw this thing a couple weeks back. i like lizard pokemon! anyways, let's take a look at this guy.....

aaaaaaw....

look how cute! anyways, there are some cool things here. look, it has a promo star like our cards! whee! also you'll note that it is #001. the first e card promo, i suppose. interestingly enough, e cards are shown with the scan codes on the left and on the bottom of the card, while this guy only has the bottom.
he is also going to have the new 'universal' back style. the stats bar is gone, and it has been replaced by an ID number. kakureon does appear to be a basic, at least in this format, and he is colorless! i thought he'd be grass...i guess cause he's green.

now, this card is a movie promo. it will be given out at screenings of celeibi--a timeless encounter in japan. cool huh? now everyone who goes to the movie will want an card e reader!

well, here's the reader....

these look neat. i want one....anyways, here are some more pics of the reader. this one actually looks like a finished product, and not a prototype....and a closeup of the logo.....

nice! but what does it do?

well, here are some smaller pics...you can see e cards, and some screens....

hey! waitaminit....those are in english!!!

check it out....there's clefairy, and pikachu, and pichu, and rapidash....the names are in english and the energy for the attacks is arranged in the american style. i think these might be prototypes, just because of the artwork....neo 4 had such amazingly great illustrations, and these look like existing sugimori pics just plunked down on quick backgrounds. but, who knows. they got the code top and bottom, they do have evolutions, and the e card expansion symbol.

there's someone swiping the card, and hey! theres a little game to play.....
