site swap 2000!
this summer, nick15 temporarily handed
his site, the famous pokemon aaah! over to the echidna for a while.
the ech was pleased because it was quite an honor, but he was
a little sad because he didn't think he could also keep up with
his own site, the echidna's den. i can't remember which of us
suggested it, but i ended up in temporary custody of the den.
so, we figured we might as well land nick15 with sugarshock. and
thus was born...
ech made some really great banners
for each site to commmemorate this historic event, and even assembled
an informative website about this great undertaking.

well that took care of the advertising....
ech struggled with modem problems to
try and update pa! every day and he did a really good job. reporting
of actual news sort of went out the window at the den...i tended
to do updates like this....
goodbye old friend....i think NOT!! have no fear, purity is
here to save the den...i bet you think i can't do it...i bet you're
all rolling your eyes saying "oh like her place ever gets
updated more that every 2 weeks or so..." uh...well..you're
right about that, but i will faithfully uphold the update standards
of excellence here at the den! [poses triumphantly]

[gazes back at crowd in astonishment...]
what? what's everyone staring at? [turns to look at site]
you want CONTENT in these updates!? who are you kidding? this
is me remember? yeesh, content...oh all right.
uhhh....in pokémon news today...stuff happened...with
pokémon...and cards! oh my yes. plenty of stuff with cards.
like...i got some cards in the mail! yeah! ryle sent me a holo
mew, and a holo eevee, and a computer error promo....they really
did leave the accent off of the e in pokémon power on that
eevee...and...i saw the trailer for the new movie on tv...and...i
ate pokémon cereal for dinner...and...geez how does ech
do it?!
well i think that is all the update we have time for today...not
very informative but i bet i spelled everything right.
don't forget to keep an eye open for nick15's update of my
site, sugarshock! plus, i 'd like to thank ech for all the advertising
he's given my place...
tomorrow i'll learn how to put images in here and stuff, so
it should be a lot more interesting, and i will go and try to
find some content, or something.

and true to the spirit of updates at
sugarshock, nick15 never did get around to doing it. and thus
went the first few weeks of site swap 2000...
and then....tragedy struck. tragedy,
in the form of the crash of the nick15.com server. both pokemon
aaah! and the echidna's den were gone.....sugarshock alone remained.
many tears were shed for these valiant
vanished sites...we will remember them fondly...site swap 2000!,
an idea that was just too cool to last....
