Saturday was going to be Tourney Day. But I got my butt handed to me by a Zappy deck and a Houndoom deck. So after that I figured I could place 25th and I didn’t wanna do that cause that would happen only if I could get through all the Gatr decks. There was no chance of that happening. So I figured I would drop out of the Main Tourney and go try my luck in the side tournament. So I signed up into the Unlimited Constructed Decks. So I entered my Rain Dance Deck. With 4 Blastoise, 4 Squirtle, 4 Articuno, and 4
Lapras. A lot of Trainers as well. 

Well my first match was against a kid playing Magcargo, Magmar and Typhlosion. I played Articuno first turn, with Squirtle on the Bench. Water to 'Cuno, and then he put an Energy on his Magmar. Then I drew Comp Search, Breeder, Blastoise, Oak. The rest was
done in a turn.

The rest of the battles were kind of foggy to me. But it was a great tourney: I placed 9th (somehow) out of 30. I was upset. I showed up to every match and lost one. But they must have messed up. Cause I was there and they only gave me credit for 5 wins not all six I got.

I traded a lot for some stuff I wanted. A couple of Shining Gyarados and Shining Magikarp, I also got many Neo 3 Houndoom and Porygon 2. I ended up Saturday night with 4 Magneton (Rev), 4 Houndoom (Rev), and 6 Porygon2. I was kinda like, "What do I do with them?" The rest of the group, along with myself, dropped our stuff off at the Clarion hotel where Pure and Ech were staying. Then we went to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. I was very eager to sit. So I sat near an end of the table. Then all the really, really popular people sat near me. I was sitting there talking to Vash and I hear Mech’s voice. So I go talk to him. I hear "Get the heck back here!" So I asked why. He said I was in his seat. I said, “Hey I sat up here before any one else sat down.” So then Pure and Ech asked me to go back there. So I did it for them. I let Mech have his way again.  Then I almost coughed up a lung in the back cause Poinko kept making me laugh when he told Master Hunter Zero he could make his face hurt by looking at a spoon in between his eyes. MHZ said, “Ok do it.” [Poink throws the spoon at MHZ's head] MHZ exclaimed, “Oww!” [Mini falls on floor laughing]. Matt Hazen, Long time family friend, named 192 Pokémon at the Pokémon naming contest, in one minute. He won six Boosters.

Then we had our Booster draft. I didn’t quite understand it. So I grabbed all the holos I could find. Then I found out we were suppose to think up a deck out of cards we get. Dumb me. I pulled out a Sneasel, Darkness Energy, Bellossom, Skarmory (Gen), and Delibird. Then I figured, "Grab the Grass Pokemon." So I pulled a couple Shuckle and Spinarak. Then I lost the tournament. It was a good night though we got in around 1:00 AM.

Sunday we got there too late to sign up for the Main tournament. So I like fell asleep at the table with all of our cards in my arms. Then I woke at like lunch. I traded off my 3 Gatr’s and my Entei Holos for Cleffas, Murkrows and some other Rares. I waited for
Matt to go get the Mewtwo Returns Vvdeo. Well, some kids went on stage trying to sing the new Johto League Champions theme song. They messed up so King Ra Ra allowed my buddy Matt to give it a shot. Of course Matt, former member of Honors Choir, sang his heart out. He also put on a good dance routine. Then he got an overwelming response from the audience, not including Mech and I cheering like raging groupies. He won his Video.

We all went for some seafood. And then we were supposed to go back for a tournament, but we couldn’t enter cause of terms I will leave the “HIGHER POWERS”, to explain to everyone. So Vash, Matt, Mech, Kaj, MT, Megs, and I went up to the room in the Clarion and talked for a while. We autographed each other's cards as memorable gifts. I got a Gyarados, Shining Gyarados, and a Porygon2 signed by everyone. Then we talked till midnight. Matt, Mech and I went to the lobby and got hugs from Pure and Ech. Finally, we got in our cab and went back to the hotel.

That was the most exciting, tiring, eventful, and festive thing I have ever been too. I wanted to thank Pure, Ech and Vash for being so kind to Matt and I for the weekend. I’ll never forget it and I will see them again in real life next year.
