The Analyst - This issue by Hackman

Issue #43 - Everyone's favorite common spine-covered aquatic armored...fish thing...

Well, it's Quilfish. And that little bugger's plenty powerful even in decks on a limited budget. Let's see what we're up against...

--- SINGLE CARD Analyst---

Cheap fun for all ages...

Quilfish
- Basic - 60 HP -

Lv 30 - Neo Revelation
- Poison Sting - 10
Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned.
- Needle Storm - 20x
Flip a coin until you get tails. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads you get.
Weak:
, Resist: - , Retreat:

> Strategy:

It's a 60 HP
pokémon that can poison first turn. Now if that's not a welcome addition to a deck (especially with the poison-turns-off-powers rule), I don't know what is.

You can take your chances with Needle Storm if you want to... at least it's better than Fossil Geodude. =P

So you would have this first turn, slap on a
and watch the fun as your opponent deals with possible poison. It's HP isn't a problem really, nothing's resistant to water and besides the occasional guy it can hold its own.

As soon as I think of something else useful to analyze (before Destiny), I'll get it up.

Till next time,
