![]() Pokemon Tower: Stadium Card This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If the effeect of a Pokemon Power, attack, Energy card, or Trainer card would put a card in a discard pile into its owner's hand, that card stays in that discard pile instead.
hmm.... let's see what we have here. much to people's dissapointment, pokemon tower doesn't effect feraligatr like people thought/wanted. ...in fact there really are not that many uses for pokemon tower... which is rather dissapointing seeing as how we need a good easy to get stadium. in the league i see very few people playing stadium cards as all... even if you just have one to knock out others. okay.... so pokemon tower doesn't stop energy from going back into the deck... it doesn't stop it from going on the pokemon... (too bad zapdos, mewtwo and houndoom haters) so where does that leave poor pokemon tower? well.... if you're playing in a standard format then it can help if your opponent is energy retreval happy. (or even super energy retreval, except no one seems to play that...) there are only a handful of pokemon that would be effected... hmmm.... the rods again would be stopped, but they're not used to begin with. (too risky) item finder would be toast, but again when you're playing modified, you don't have to worry about them... what's left? ....RECYCLE ENERGY! yeah... its true. pokemon tower would stop the effects of recycle energy in its tracks. and also it would stop blaine's charmander from using its kindle attack so effectivly. one of the things it counts on is the recycle coming back to the hand.... okay, personally, i think pokemon tower really has too limited of uses to be tournement worthy.... BUT... its a stadium! and it is VERY easy to get... so i think that you might see a lot of the younger players using this just to have a counter stadium in against the more experienced players, if nothing else. gym leaders, perhaps suggest to your league to use pokemon tower in stadiumless decks in order to get a stadium IN their deck... once they find out who ineffective it is then maybe move them to healing fields or another specialized one. you know... analysis isn't that bad. now i can finally give my opinions about cards and everyone has to listen!!! mwahahahahah!!!! i shall rule the world!!!! i shall soon create a civilization of nothing but dunsparce decks and then come and wipe them out in one foul swoop! IT WILL BE GLORIOUS! ATTENTION CONCERNED VIEWERS ech hasn't really lost it, however this scenario is quite real unless people submit cards they would like to see in the analyst spotlight. |
